Mrs. Kate Kirkpatrick

Instructor in Humanities, Agriculture, & Culinary Arts

Kate Kirkpatrick was born and raised in Chicago. Her roots are urban, but she formed a special interest and expertise in nature and its potentials during her years as an instructor and outdoor education coordinator for a wilderness experience program. Living in forests and off the land, she learned, in the words of Job, to “ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you.” Mrs. Kirkpatrick teaches courses in theology, agriculture, and culinary arts. She also leads STMA's chapter of the Future Farmers of America.

Kate Kirkpatrick graduated magna cum laude in theology from Franciscan University, where she studied with Scott Hahn and Fr. Dan Patee.
