STMA is a member in good standing of the NCISAA 2A and the Carolina Independent Conference.

The 2018-2019 school year was the most successful athletics year in STMA history:

Women’s Cross Country won the NCISAA 2A Championship.

Men’s Cross Country were NCISAA 2A Runners-Up. Junior Noah Wollersheim claimed 1st Place in the Championship race.

Men’s Soccer won the CIC regular season. Senior Greg Shamine was named Conference Player of the Year.

Women’s Basketball were CIC Runners-Up and advanced to the second round of NCISAA State Tournament.

Women’s Soccer finished 3rd in the CIC. Senior Aubrey Leaser was named Conference Player of the Year and earned NCISAA 2A All-State Honors.

With many strong players returning, next year promises to be even better.
