In order to participate in any school sponsored workouts or practices, students must have an up-to-date physical on file with the school. These forms are usually available at your physician's office, but can also be located here.

STMA is a member in good standing of the NCISAA 2A and the Carolina Independent Conference.

STMA offers the following sports:

Athletic Accomplishments

Congratulations to the 2019 NCISAA State Champion STMA Men's and Women's Cross Country teams and to individual state champion and runner of the year, sophomore, Anna Richard!

The 2018-2019 school year was one of the most successful athletic years in STMA history:

Women’s Cross Country won the NCISAA 2A Championship;

Men’s Cross Country were NCISAA 2A Runners-Up. Junior Noah Wollersheim claimed 1st Place in the Championship race;

Men’s Soccer won the CIC regular season. Senior Greg Shamine was named Conference Player of the Year;

Women’s Basketball were CIC Runners-Up and advanced to the second round of NCISAA State Tournament;

Women’s Soccer finished 3rd in the CIC. Senior Aubrey Leaser was named Conference Player of the Year and earned NCISAA 2A All-State Honors.
