Mrs. Julie Eaton
Instructor in Science and Mathematics
Julie Eaton has long expressed a love of teaching in her work. Whether as a “TA” in secondary and college science labs or as a tutor for members of Maine’s Wabanaki Tribe, her greatest joy has been to help students discover their personal capabilities in math and science.
After finishing her graduate studies Mrs. Eaton worked as a research chemist and taught chemistry at Husson University, where she also volunteered time at the Newman Center teaching CCD classes. “It was in adoration,” she says, “that I felt the strong need to place my children in a school that fostered their spiritual lives as well as their academic lives. This is what brought me and my family to STMA,” where she says she is “excited to be able to bring her love of God into the classroom each day.”
Mrs. Eaton was born and raised in Maine. She received her B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Maine and her M.S. in Chemistry at NC State University.
