Mrs. Kate Kirkpatrick
Instructor in Humanities and Science
Kate Kirkpatrick was born and raised in Chicago. Her roots are urban, but she formed a special interest and expertise in nature and its potentials during her years as an instructor and outdoor education coordinator for a wilderness experience program. Working in forests and living off the land, she learned, in the words of Job, to “ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you.” Mrs. Kirkpatrick teaches courses in humanities, agricultural science, and culinary arts. She also leads STMA's chapter of the Future Farmers of America.
Kate Kirkpatrick graduated magna cum laude from Franciscan University.
