St. Thomas More Academy invites applications for several new positions in our growing school.
Successful candidates will be academically engaged Catholics, committed to the Church's teachings on faith and morals and vocationally ordered to student formation in a high-outcome learning community. Demonstrated teaching excellence is expected.
One position is part-time.
1. Fine arts teacher (PT), with responsibilities in grades 6-12. This position requires a (minimum) four-year undergraduate degree in fine arts or a related field.
Two positions are full-time. Evidence of positive school leadership at the appropriate grade levels is highly valued for both.
2. Science, mathematics, and technology teacher (FT), with responsibilities in grades 6-8. This position requires a (minimum) B.A./B.S. degree in core STEM.
3. Humanities teacher (FT), with responsibilities in grades 6-8. This position requires a (minimum) B.A. in core humanities and strong competence in Latin.
Salaries and benefits are competitive for all three positions. Duties for all begin with the 2020-21 academic year. We will begin reviewing applications on October 11, 2019. We will review applications as they are received.
